Road to kW can provide installations for all models of vehicles. If your vehicle is fully electric or a plug-in hybrid, we can install it.
You do not have to have bought your car first. We can install the basic apparatus to have your car ready to go when you buy it. It will depend on whether you want to use the equipment provided by your dealer.
Level 1 charging stations require the lowest voltage. They take the longest time to charge an electric vehicle. They are good for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles which have relatively small batteries. For fully electric vehicles a Level 2 charger is more optimal. They use higher voltages which allow more rapid charging. A Level 2 charger can typically fully charge an all electric vehicle in several hours. One overnight charge will fully replenish the battery.
We can make modifications to your electrical panels to adjust for standard or rapid charging stations.
